TOWNSHIP OF BRUCE

SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 18, 2010

            A special meeting of the Bruce Township Board was held on August 18, 2010 at the Bruce Township Hall with board members Marsh, Sawyers, Avery and LaJoie present.  Absent Rogers.  The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.

            Discussion was held on black topping three roads, Nicolet Rd. between 8 & 9 Mile Rd., 71/2 Mile Rd and Lower Hay Lake Rd. and Lower Hay Lake Rd. between 11 and 12 Mile Rd.

            Motion was made by Marsh, seconded by Avery to pave 1 mile on Nicolet Rd. between 8 & 9 Mile Rd. at a cost of $50,602.00.  All were in favor, motion carried.

            Motion was made by LaJoie, seconded by Avery to pave 1 mile on Lower Hay Lake Rd. between 11 & 12 Mile Rd. at a cost of $50,602.00.  All were in favor, motion carried.

            Motion was made by Avery, seconded by LaJoie to pave 1.1 miles on 71/2 Mile and Lower Hay Lake Rd. at a cost of $55,662.00.  All were in favor, motion carried.

            Motion was made by LaJoie, seconded by Marsh to adjourn the meeting.  The Supervisor adjourned the meeting at 7:30 p.m.  All were in favor, motion carried.
