TOWNSHIP OF BRUCE
MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON MAY 13, 2009

            A Special Meeting of the Bruce Township Board was held on May 13, 2009 at the Bruce Township Hall with board members Marsh, Avery, LaJoie and Rogers present.  Absent Sawyers.  Also in attendance was one township resident.  The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 7:26 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.

            In the absence of the Clerk, Treasurer LaJoie took the minutes.

              Discussion was held on bids for replacing the roof on the Township Hall.  There were 19 bids received. They ranged from $17,400.00 to $35,000.00.  Motion was made by Rogers, seconded by Marsh to award the contract to Dan Rye Builders with a bid of $19,202.08.  All were in favor, motion carried.

            Motion was made by Marsh, seconded by Rogers to adjourn the meeting.  All were in favor, motion carried.  The Supervisor adjourned the meeting at 7:35 p.m.
