TOWNSHIP OF BRUCE

SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON MARCH 17, 2010

            A special meeting of the Bruce Township Board was held on March 17, 2010 at the Bruce Township Hall with board members Marsh, Avery, Sawyers, Rogers and LaJoie present.  The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.

            The following budget adjustments were made to the General Fund:

            Motion was made by Sawyers, seconded by Marsh to increase #804 Dues by $20.00 and decrease #694, Contingency by $20.00.  Motion carried.

            Motion was made by Sawyers, seconded by Rogers to increase Supervisor #956, Education and Training by $334.00 and decrease #694, Contingency by #334.00.  Motion carried.

            Motion was made by Sawyers, seconded by Marsh to increase Clerk #956, Education and Training by $57.00 and decrease #694, Contingency by $57.00.  Motion carried.

            Motion was made by Sawyers, seconded by Avery to increase Treasurer #956, Education and Training by $61.00 and decrease $694, Contingency by $61.00.  Motion carried.

            Motion was made by Sawyers, seconded by Marsh to increase Board of Review #702, Salary by $125.00 and decrease #694, Contingency by $125.00.  Motion carried.

            Fire and Ambulance Budget:  Motion was made by Sawyers and seconded by Lajoie to increase #730 - 911 Address Signs by $83.00 and decrease #694, Contingency by $83.00.  Motion carried.

            Work was done on the 2010 – 2011 Budget.

            Motion was made by Rogers, seconded by LaJoie to adjourn the meeting.  All were in favor, motion carried.  The Supervisor adjourned the meeting at 10.00 p.m.
