Township governing activities being moved to the county and state levels.
Zoning Enabling Act discussion: Chairperson pointed out minor changes needed in our Zoning

Master Plan update: Discussion concluded that it would be best to have a Public Meeting after
the Master Plan has been presented to the Township Board and the various agencies and
to cancel the proposed Public information meeting. There is a time schedule involved and if the Master Plan is to be accepted before the end of the year, the Township Board shall need to review and accept the plan in July. Chairman presented a complete draft and asked the members to review and comment for the next meeting so it can be presented to the Board. Members were also asked to think about possible boundary lines for different zoning areas (i.e. residential, agricultural and light industrial designations).
