Bruce Township Planning Commission

May 6, 2008

Attendance
Members in attendance were J. Hillock, M. Mitchell, L. Little, C. Person, D. Rogers, M. Pins, and Supervisor C. Marsh. There were 3 other Township residents also in attendance

Call To Order
C. Person called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm. The meeting started with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag with business following.

Previous Minutes
The minutes were read and L. Little moved to accept the minutes with the correction of noted typo to Amendment 9 instead of 3 in the Draft of Zoning Ordinances No. 01-2004

Election of Officers
C. Person moved to cast a ballot for L. Little to the chairman seat. L. Little respectfully declined. L. Little moved to cast a ballot for C. Person to said position. D. Rogers seconded the motion and the motion carried. The Board elected C. Person to the Chairman position. C. Person moved to cast a ballot for M. Mitchell for the secretary position. D. Rogers seconded the motion and the notion carried. The Board elected M. Mitchell to the secretary position.

Information
C. Person explained the procedures for Applications for Permits and Special Land Use Decision Documents for review.

L. Little suggested that the present Board go through the Zoning Ordinance No. 01-2004 as a new Board. All agreed this was a very good idea. This will begin at the next meeting and the following meetings until the whole document was gone through.

There was no comments or questions from the audience at this time.

Adjournment
With no new business to come before the Board, D. Rogers moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 pm. L. Little seconded the motion and the motion carried.
