Approval of agenda: accepted as presented
Approval of minutes of 10 February 2009 : Accepted as presented.
Public comment: R. Laitenen gave a brief discussion on the safety and environmental agencies that monitor asphalt operations. He also cautioned against too much regulation on the townships part. Commission appreciated his input. Burnham and Burton expressed that they were present to answer any questions concerning their operations.
Zoning Administrator report: no permits issued the past month.

Other: no other business.
Discussion on proposed Amendment # 10: 28.605D (h)Air Pollution: phrase Equipment discharge generated was struck from the paragraph so that it now reads: “(h)Air Pollution: Pollution shall be kept to a minimum by the use of modern equipment and methods of operation.”
No other changes.
Roll call vote to present proposed Amendment #10 to the Township Board as corrected: Hillock-yes, Mitchell-yes, Person-yes, Rogers-yes. Proposed Amendment #10 shall be presented to the Board 12 March 2009.
Next meeting is scheduled for 7 April 2009. Business shall include continued review of ordinances.
