Approval of Agenda: Motion by L. Little, 2nd D. Rogers.  Agenda accepted
Approval of 6 January 2009 minutes: Correction J. Hillock nominated M. Mitchell for Chairperson, 2nd by D. Rogers.  Motion by D. Rogers, 2nd L. Little to approve minutes
with correction.  Motion passed unanimously.

Public comments:  Residents from the west 15 Mile road area spoke on adverse
conditions created from the asphalt plant located in the gravel pit by their homes.  They detailed steps that they had taken to inform government agencies about their problem.

Mrs. C. Daley from the Chippewa County Health Department spoke about the type of information needed by her Department before she could become involved with the problem.  She offered suggestions and procedures that the residents could follow to augment the residents’ desire to prevent problems in the area in the future.

Review additional regulations to the gravel Pit Ordinance 28.605D: Members discussed a
proposed wording for the amendment to the Ordinance 28.605D to include temporary Asphalt mixing plants.  It was agreed that a work session was needed to complete the proposed wording.  Chairperson will contact members as to date and time.
