Approval of minutes of 7 April 2009: accepted as read

No public for comment:

M. Pins reported 33 permits have been issued to date 11 of which are new homes..  Last year at this time 44 permits had been issued.

Commissioner comments: none

Supervisor gave report on black top projects currently ongoing with the County Road Commission.

Commissioner Person asked to have clarified the square footage of a new home in the Township.  Zoning Administrator assured the commissioners that the home fulfilled all Zoning requirements.

Discussion on the validity of a resolution passed by the Township Board 9 July 2009 to return final approval of Special Land Use decisions to the Township Board.  The resolution is the first step as current ordinances shall have to be amended for the resolution to become effective.

Supervisor suggested that a joint workshop meeting with the Planning Commission and the Township Board be scheduled at the time of the next Planning Commission meeting 10 November 2009.  Planning Commission agreed and Supervisor will share the request with the Board.
