Fire Department

Bruce Township is served by a well trained volunteer fire department operating out of the township fire hall located on the west side of the township hall at 3156 E. 12 Mile Road. The Department responds to fires and other emergencies in the township and works cooperatively with neighboring townships as necessary and appropriate.

The Fire Department is funded by a property tax millage, township general fund allocations, and with grant monies from state and federal sources.

The Fire Department operates under the able leadership of Fire Chief Tim Andrews, Assistant Chief Steve Sawyers, and Assistant Chief Alex Bazinau.
